About me seems like a simple question and I will give you the stats… I am 52 years old…Married for 25 years…. and about to be a nanna…..god I sound ancient! I live by the lake with my husband, son (hopefully not forever) and my two dogs, Carlos Santana and Lucy. Which, I will not apologize for….you will hear about them alot! I have a daughter who is married and expecting our first grandchild. I work full time at a high school in the office and I probably will till they kick me out i suppose.
But the “about me” that is more complicated is the me inside that is longing to emerge. Do you ever just do something for someone even though you don’t want to because it is easier? to “keep the peace”? (my mothers famous quote) Or don’t do something because you just don’t know what the reactions will be? well that is how I have lived most of my life. Keeping the peace.
This is not a blame blog…this is my healing journey. Inside and out. There will be no I hate my mother stories….But there will be an honest testimony of what I have walked through with God and the passions and people that I have been blessed with to walk my way toward transformation.
